The lost patrol

At dawn, the patrol set out once again across the misty mountain trail, their soft footfalls muffled by dew-soaked moss. Led by Muto the Elder, they moved in quiet unity, trying to find the way home while scanning the undergrowth for hidden springs and edible shoots. Unmoved by their fate, the mountains watched them pass.
